See KIDS in action. The first two segments show a hunger fair put on by 5th and 6th grade students in Maine. The students brought together Senator Olympia Snowe, the organization RESULTS, and the local CBS & NBC stations in Portland, ME for this event. In the final segment, a 6th grade class in Bellingham, MA studied the root causes of hunger and poverty for a year and translated their findings into a dance. This served as a PSA on a local cable channel. The students obtained permission from Grammy Award winner, Tom Chapin, to use his music "Hunger and Thirst" in their video.
Inspiring kids to end hunger and poverty in their communities, their country, and their world.
